But which are the rules which best adapt to the 3-D area-based wargame? Ideally, any "old" boardgame in a box, with a hexagon base, can be made three dimensional, but there are limits and these are due fundamentally to the space at your disposal. If a rule demands hex-based maps of 100x100 hexagons, this would force you to have a play table of about 12x10 meters.

For this reason, in this section we shall list the rules which, in our opinion, can be converted more easily into a three-dimensional system. But beware: not all can be bought directly through this site, and, therefore, take a careful look at the indications shown for each rule. In some cases, a link will be provided, through which you can purchase. In other cases, you can download the rules free-of-charge, and in other cases still, you can buy directly.

If anyone had tried or also created rules or variations to rules which adapt well to this approach and would be pleased to let us know, send an E-mail to: info@tridentebologna.it and we would be very glad to add them to the section.
